Growing up, my family would take our annual vacation down in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. It is a beautiful boot shaped island just off the coast of the southern most tip of South Carolina- you can even see Savannah, Georgia from some of the shores!
Hilton Head is small enough to boast tons of walkable beach and easy places to get to, but large enough to have a bustling night life and event schedule. This includes the Hilton Head Island Seafood, Jazz and Brew Festival, held September 13-18 2010.
